More about Monthly Teen Nights

Every teen night features fun activities for middle and high school students ranging from laser tag battles, climbing wall challenges, arcade access*, snack bar specials, and mini golf (weather/laser tag field choice dependent).  We even throw in some casino card games for Funny Money and Cards Against Humanity (high school only) with volunteers assisting.  Adult volunteers are encouraged to sign up HERE.

We work to keep cover charges low and the activity content high for an ultimate fun time.  Teen nights that are sponsored usually end up in NO COVER charge for teens.  We also waive cover charges for organizations that work with low income families.  Please email us for info regarding these options.

OTFF Smart noodle scholarship Award

Award Background

The Importance of Education

The owners of Old Town Family Fun are extremely passionate about education, furthering your skills, and mixing in a bit of silly along the way.  We also feel like teens need a safe outlet for fun and offer that through our monthly teen nights.  Put the two together and naturally a scholarship seemed fitting.

The Smart Noodle Name

First of all, let's tie the award to our Noodle Fest theming where a significant portion of the funding comes from.  The attendees at Teen Nights have so many smart attributes but also know how to let loose and have a silly good time.  The word, noodle, implies the pasta reference but also the brain/head and can reference a simpleton.  We'd like to take any negativity out of it and just make it a pretty smart and simple way to win this scholarship award: attend an OTFF Teen Night, our monthly teen events in a safe environment filled will fun activities and food.

What can funds be used for?

The student winning our Scholarship Award can use the funds for any secondary educational experience such as university, vocational/trades education, etc. OR to be reimbursed for expenses incurred through an apprenticeship or other non-traditional career path expense.

How Funds Add Up

There are several ways the OTFF Smart Noodle Scholarship Fund gets built.  Funds will reset annually after the Gatsby Teen Formal for the next year's scholarship cycle.

  • Teen Night Tickets: $1 from every Teen Night ticket purchased at the door and $0.50 from every online ticket will go into the Scholarship Fund.  Resets every June.
  • Contributions: Partner contributions from local businesses are welcome year-round to be designated for this award.  Businesses contributing $250 or more will have a thank you banner displayed on our mini golf fence through Labor Day.
